NEIL GAIMAN WINS THE JOHN NEWBERY MEDAL FOR THE GRAVEYARD BOOK
NEW YORK (Jan. 26, 2009) – HarperCollins Children’s Books announced today that eight titles, eight authors, and three illustrators have been honored at the 2009 ALA Midwinter Meeting in Denver, Colorado. Neil Gaiman was awarded the 2009 John Newbery Medal for his novel The Graveyard Book.
