READER REVIEWS
The Missing Girl is chilling, urgent and suspenseful: The Herbert sister's lives are fun to read about and easy to get used to, and the man's haunting interjections add a scary sense to the novel. The Missing Girl is a must-read!
Whitney (Lawrenceville, GA)
This book was excellent. Mazer uses several points of view, which adds to the realistic elements of the story and also lets the reader get involved at every angle. The suspense of every chapter kept me reading until I finished the book in only a few sittings!
Kelly (North Port, FL)
This is the story of the Herbert sisters- Beauty, Mim, Stevie, Fancy, and Autumn- and how their seemingly normal lives become turned upside down by a peculiar, middle-aged man. This man watches the girl with an outlandish fascination and the girls don’t even seem to notice as they continue on with their normal lives, thinking that nothing bad could ever happen to them, but he has other plans. The story is narrated in a way that captures both sides of the thought tree, predator and prey. It’s wonderfully written and totally captivating.
Samantha (Knoxville, TN)
This was a great book. I couldn't put it down for a second.
