Macky Pamintuan has illustrated several children's books, including the Flat Stanley series by Jeff Brown, the Nancy Drew and the Clue Crew series by Carolyn Keene, and Bedtime at the Swamp by Kristyn Crow. He grew up rooting for the San Francisco Giants, cheering them on from the best seats in the house thanks to his uncle Allen. He lives in San Diego, California, with his wife, Aymone, and their wily dog, Winter.
